Throughout the year, City ArtWorks offers studio art classes for all ages. The after school classes for 1st-8th graders are based on our core Art After School curriculum, each class explores an art movement or artist and applies that information in hands-on art making. This includes exploration of a variety of visual arts techniques and mediums including painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, collage and more. In addition, we offer ArtSmart classes for ages 3-5. City ArtWorks' community studio offers specialized programs for all ages with free family workshops throughout the year.We offer private lessons upon request and can form a class for groups of 5 or more directly matching the groups' schedule and interests.
Fall classes at the community studio begin in late September and registration is open now! Our fall class schedule is very similar to what we offered in the spring but we have more! Curious? You can click here for the full spring 2014 community studio class schedule.
